Before the IPL 2026 auction, the Gujarat Titans are planning a major overhaul of their squad, with the franchise about to reveal its retention and release list prior to the November 15 deadline. GT, which completed the IPL 2025 season in third place and received a playoff ticket, is going to take courageous measures to enhance its team for the next season.

Shubman Gill, who played a spectacularly valuable role in the team's offensive throughout IPL 2025 and scored 650 runs in 15 matches, will certainly be the captain of the Titans for the upcoming season. Other than Gill, teamwork of Sai Sudarshan on the batting front and Rashid Khan’s with the ball has made the squad the strongest ever.
